Irene I. Kim, Esq.
Irene I. Kim culls her experience from multi-lingual and multi-national sources, being fluent in English, Korean and French, and having practiced in both Canada and the United States. Attorney Kim attended college and graduate school at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, graduating with honors from one of the top-ranking universities in the country. She attended law school at Boston College Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, receiving recognition for her contributions to the Asian American legal community and her academic research and writing. She was selected as an attorney for a top-priority special project for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice in Toronto, Canada. She has also worked in the Chambers of The Honorable Judge Nancy Gertner of the District Court of Massachusetts in Boston, one of the most respected federal district judges in the Northeast. There, she gained hands-on experience in federal trial practice, both in court and behind the scenes of the decision makers.
Attorney Kim is licensed in Georgia as well as Massachusetts, and is admissible to the New York State Bar. In Georgia, she has been sought after to work with some of the nation's premier criminal defense attorneys on both the trial and appeal levels in serious felony and even death penalty cases. She has also handled numerous civil litigation cases as the lead counsel of record, ranging from simple contract disputes, to multi-million dollar construction and fraud cases. In Massachusetts as well as Georgia, attorney Kim has provided tenacious representation in complex immigration matters, including winning political asylum, releasing detained clients, and appealing denials. She has recently successfully handled several multi-million dollar corporate transactional matters, including commercial real estate closings and contract negotiations.
Attorney Kim has spent several years handling real estate
transactions and litigation. Irene knows exactly how the mortgage
industry works, and she knows what laws need to be followed by
lenders, brokers, loan officers, escrow officers, title companies,
appraisers, and notary publics. She uses her insider knowledge to
