White Collar Crimes
A white collar crime occurs when an individual in a possession of power and
trust abuses that power and trust to increase his or her wealth. Essentially,
this is when a person takes money from a company that he or she works for or
with for their own benefit. These cases are extremely hard for the prosecutor
to prosecute because they must prove that you intended to commit a crime and
steal money from the company. The FBI is starved for information and will continue
to ask you to turn over any information that you have. They will claim that
you are not in custody, but you still need to call your lawyer immediately.
You also need to be aware that most of these cases are settled out of court.
Without a lawyer, you could face serious jail time and outrageous fees. The
Law Offices of Geerdes and Kim, LLC, can help you avoid severe sentences. Call
us now for a free consultation.
