FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
(Atlanta, GA) - According to the United States Census bureau the immigrant population in the Atlanta metro area is experiencing explosive growth, more than doubling since 1990. The scarcity of translation services in Georgia's courts and the rarity of non-English speaking attorneys have unfortunately conspired to handicap immigrant businesses and individuals when faced with potentially devastating lawsuits and disputes. After opening its doors in 2005 Geerdes & Kim, LLC realized that there was terrible void in legal services being offered to the immigrant community. In its effort to expand its legal services to the Korean, French and Spanish speaking communities, Geerdes & Kim, LLC has relocated its offices to 4151 Ashford-Dunwoody Rd, NE Suite 165, Atlanta, GA.
"We want to be known as the law firm that is involved in the whole community. Our legal team has a broad base of experience and knowledge in the general litigation arena including real estate, immigration, and criminal trials and appeal. We want to share that knowledge and experience with the immigrant community," says Irene Kim, partner of Geerdes and Kim, LLC.
Geerdes & Kim, LLC has found that many clients are confused and intimidated by the legal process; but they hope to offer them a better experience.
"Our motto is 'commitment and results'," says Holly Geerdes, partner of Geerdes and Kim, LLC. "We are committed to staying the course with each of our clients, ensuring that they are not just shuttled through the legal process; but that they have a true understanding of that process."
The courtroom is not the only place Geerdes & Kim, LLC is making a difference. Advocates of social justice and supporters of the arts, Geerdes & Kim, LLC is involved in several community organizations throughout the Atlanta and regularly contributes to local artists.
