Live jazz, local artists and a global array of culinary delights will set the stage for a night of celebration and political dialogue Thursday, June 29, 2006, 7:00pm - 9:00pm at 4151 Ashford-Dunwoody Rd, NE, Atlanta, GA as The Law Group of Geerdes & Kim, LLC hosts the campaign fundraising party for Democratic Lieutenant Governor candidate Jim Martin.
After opening its doors in 2005, Geerdes & Kim, LLC
was determined to be a law firm of commitment and results, not just in law; but in all aspects of the community. "We want to engage the community on all levels," says Holly Geerdes, a partner in Geerdes & Kim. "Socially and politically, we're committed to showing concrete support for political leaders who we know reach out to all the residents of Georgia," Geerdes added.
The event will especially highlight the business and political leaders of the Pan Asian community acknowledging and addressing the special concerns facing this population that has experienced explosive growth in Georgia within the past 10 years according the United States Census Bureau.
"Many of our clients originate from the Pan Asian diaspora and we want to ensure that they continue to have a voice in the American political process," says Irene Kim, a partner in Geerdes & Kim, LLC. "Because of his commitment to all of Georgia, and his support for the Pan Asian community, we open our doors and hearts to Jim Martin," Kim added.
